Eligibility Requirements

  • Currently studying or recently graduated
  • Strong English oral and written communication skills (IELTS may be requested depending on the internship industry)
  • Visa: Working Holiday (417) or Work and Holiday (462)

Step-by-step guide to landing an Internship

  • Submit application documents, including resume, cover letter, and proof of English proficiency.
  • Fill out the application form and pay the enrolment fee (approximately 20-30% of the total placement fee).
  • MLA Visas will review your application within 1 – 5 working days.
  • A suitable placement will be arranged based on your preferences.
  • MLA Visas will schedule interviews with host organizations until you are successfully placed in an internship.
  • Once a placement is secured, you'll receive comprehensive details about your prospective internship.
  • Complete payment for the internship search program fee.
  • Before the internship begins, you'll undergo an interview with the host organization to ensure mutual suitability (usually 1 – 3 months beforehand).
